The Background

Daniele Buetti is an Italian artist famous for distorting photographs of beautiful – not seldomly known – women with tiny dots of needles, color or light. 

The task was to create a set of playing cards inspired by a favorite artist so I dove into the challenge of recreating the artworks digitally. The pictures used were taken for two different magazine spreads, the light was added with much love for Procreate and Photoshop.
